Case study detailing how an SBS Server can be migrated to a Cloud Solution.

  • About Our Client - Established in 2002 our customer has an equine business situated in West Sussex. With vast experience in the equine industry.
  • Client Requirements - To facilitate the replacement of their Small Business Server and move to a cloud-based solution.    
  • Our Solution - ABM delivered a Microsoft Office 365 environment, migrating email to Microsoft’s online Exchange Mail and moving all local data to a SharePoint solution with relevant permissions and protection of data.
  • The Outcome - We deployed our seamless export tools for email, built a project scope that selected the relevant mailboxes to migrate, provided a suitable project end date and commenced synchronisation. After setting up SharePoint to reflect the current file structures and migrating the data, the on-premise server was no longer required. Monday arrived and all desktops were re-configured to collect email and SharePoint data from the new Microsoft Office 365 environment. There was no interuption to the client or their business. The customer is happy and enjoying their new solution.
